One of these days you'll explode and shout to all the kids, "Why don't you just grow up and act your age!" And they will...
Take a moment to listen today
To what your children are trying to say
Listen today, whatever you do
Or they won't be there to listen to you.
Kids don't learn about money by osmosis and very little even in school. Your child may not learn a whole lot about money even in church, yet a child needs to develop a good sense about money from an early age.
What does your mom do in her spare time?
1. Mothers don't do spare time.
2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.
3. At least once a day I will praise something about my children and be wary of excessive criticism.

4. I will give my children freedom and privacy and teach them the proper use of both.
Parents, are you waiting for your prodigal? Keep praying! Keep believing! Keep loving! Keep looking! He/She may be at the end of your lane ready to come home.
Almost every day Christian parents tearfully acknowledge, "We've tried so hard to raise and instruct our children in the ways of the Lord. But still, after all of this, some of our children have strayed into sin. Why? We just don't understand."
Years ago, Rev. C. Galea was assigned to the Guelph Correctional Center for his summer work. While there, he developed an excellent rapport with many of the young people who were incarcerated. He asked the boys for clues as to why they had ended up in that institution. He then asked them to draw up a code for parents, zeroing in on specific areas where they had failed.
Some of the most successful men and women in history have credited their success to the guidance and prayers of their parents.
With Easter fast approaching many of us are out buying baskets, grass, candy, and all kinds of "goodies" to surprise our kids with on Easter morning! It is fun to get caught up in the bright colors and cheery decorations that Easter has to offer, but, please do not let this holiday slip away without recognizing its true meaning and passing it on to your children.
