I bounced into church on a Sunday morning as was the usual routine. I quickly stepped into the women's bathroom to make sure I was all put together before dashing into the sanctuary to do the morning service.

I came to a screeching halt as I came face to face with a professional scale. I chuckled, "Oh dear Lord, since when do I have to weigh in before I go to church?"
Here it is October already! I think it is obvious that for me, this has been a long, interesting, and challenging year so far. I didn't plan it that way…it just happened. It is going on seven months since I experienced the double compound fracture on my leg. On the day of the accident (February 28), I encouraged myself that I would be up and walking within eight weeks! Hmm…now you know I'm a true blonde!
