Happy July to you!
I cannot believe July just arrived and it is already the 6th of the month. We hope you enjoyed the long weekend of celebrations, fireworks, family get-togethers and endless eating...yes! Yummy!
We were home in Sisseton and felt privileged to spend a few hours with some of Larry's family. On the evening of the 4th, we were able to spend time with several of my brothers and families as well. Needless to say, we ate a lot; we told a lot of stories (which many of my siblings added extra stories to them); we shared much laughter. It was so special for my mom to look around and have 8 out of her 11 children surrounding her. We ended the fun-filled evening joining hands and praying for and with each other. That's what families do...what they are all about.

Have you ever been driving down the street oblivious to what might be coming down the road and before you knew it, you hit a speed bump that jars you? You realize that you have been forced to slow down or you are going to tear your car up. Well...I guess that is the best introduction I can give to what I am about to say.
Larry and I have been sailing down the road of ministry and God has been so gracious to allow us the privilege of representing Him in services, rallies and events sharing the simple Gospel message. In the last few months, hundreds have responded to the altar calls. It has been thrilling!
In the middle of all of this, I noticed Larry begin to physically walk slower and then he began to complain of weakness in his legs as well as struggling with balance to the point of tripping easily. He was experiencing extreme muscle spasms followed by muscle loss. It was apparent his motor skills were definitely being affected.

Greetings from Minneapolis! We just drove in from a wonderful and exciting Father's Day service and weekend in Glenwood, MN. Of course, Minnesota is known as the land of 10,000 lakes....it truly is beautiful! With the unusually cooler weather and abundance of rain---the grass is plush and green.
With the onset of summer, the holiday and vacations, we were not sure how the attendance would be, but we were pleased to see so many of our partners and friends who drove in from the surrounding areas.

Greetings from Minneapolis. A quick note to post a few graduation photos from our grandson, Dante's, high school graduation last Saturday, June 4th that I promised to family and friends.
It was a picture perfect evening as we gathered along with thousands of others at the Rosemount Minnesota outdoor stadium. Larry and I crowded in next to LaDawn and her daughter, Myanna, and sat spellbound as we watched the graduates march across the field for the ceremony.

The past two weeks have been a collage of events, services, graduations, open houses, family, friends, ministry, Memorial Day, etc.
Two weeks ago, we ministered in Detroit Lakes, MN at the Assembly of God church. As always, we rejoice at the decisions for Christ that were made.

Last Sunday, we celebrated Larry's 50th year "on the road". He graduated from High School May 14, 1961 and left the following day May 15, 1961 joining his brother Lowell and his wife Connie in full-time evangelism, literally "on the road" 300 plus days a year.
Not long after my graduation tassel had been presented to me on May 14, 1961, I sped home to the farmhouse to begin packing a few of my personal belongings, preparing for the first leg of my 50 year journey. Of course, I didn't know that at the time.
Greetings from Bismarck, ND! Whew...what a whirlwind couple of weeks - let's recap! We ministered in Sioux Falls, SD on Easter at Calvary A/G with Pastor Dan and Phyllis Kuno. Seeing precious souls at the altar and lives being changed was truly the expression of what Easter is all about.
We celebrate Easter this week...I love it...as it was Easter season that both Larry and my families came to Christ in the 1950's. I love to remember it. My parents were invited to church, the preacher shared a simple salvation message to our family of 10, at the time...
Recently, we were in the Houston area for four days. We ministered last Sunday at Son Harvest church in Crosby, Texas, which is a small suburb of Houston. What loving pastors Richard and Joyce Amador are! Their congregation reflects them in their love also. Pastor Richard has a heartbeat for Native American ministries and us being from the Sioux Native American reservation in South Dakota - our spirits clicked.
