We love fall and are thoroughly enjoying a beautiful day today. It literally looks like a page ripped out of a magazine...picture perfect! We are celebrating two wonderful weekends of services.

What a beautiful fall day it is in Indiana!  How blessed we are to enjoy God's breathtaking creation and His colored brushstrokes vividly displayed along the way.  We have had two great weekends of services and altar calls.

On October 2nd, we held our last official rally celebrating the completion of our 50th year of marriage and ministry tour….and WOW….what a celebration we had at The Father's House in Burnsville, MN, with Pastor Londa Lundstrom Ramsey.  Many partners, friends and family drove in to join in the celebration.  They sent us out with their prayers, honor and love to begin our 51st year on the road!

I never dreamt when we walked down the aisle and repeated our marriage vows that we would still be "on the road" 51 years later!  What a privilege Larry and I have had to have invested (not spent) our lives and all these years together leading thousands to Christ and encouraging thousands of others.  I am so thankful to be married to my "best friend" who is so passionate about evangelism.  He lives and breathes it.  I am blessed!

We were so excited for these master level evangelists who presented a most powerful, beautiful and simple Gospel presentation recently at The Father's House! Thank you Larry and Gloria Lundstrom for being with us! Your amazing love for God and people is contagious and your 50 plus years of non-stop ministry incredible!  What a great Kingdom building day of music, laughter and salvation we had!! Let's do it again soon.

Last Sunday, we ministered at Souls Harbor Assembly of God in Auburn, IN, with Pastor David and Linda Snodderly.  What a precious couple who also breathes evangelism….they serve at a great church with a great congregation.  It has been 15 years since we had been with them and they remembered and reminded us while setting up equipment of that precious service….the songs we sang as well as the anointed message and altar call.  There was no disconnect---it was like coming home!  Their love and enthusiasm was delightful and exciting!  This time, too, God anointed the music and message, and in turn, there was a great harvest at the altar.

"The minister of Larry and Gloria Lundstrom is what the church of the Lord Jesus Christ needs today.  The songs they sang and the great soulwinning message that Larry preached interspersed with his great sense of humor, is so relevant for today's world.  Our congregation was blessed beyond measure.  Many responded to the altar call, some for the first time.  It is wonderful to see such authentic, true-hearted, genuine love for God's people and the lost. Larry and I appreciate connecting with you through our website.  We ask you to continue to pray for us.  We are so grateful!  We are heading south through Nashville and then on down to Florida to park our motorhome away from the Midwest frigid winters.

{Quote}

In the New Testament, love is more of a verb than a noun. It has more to do with acting than with feeling. The call to love is not so much a call to a certain state of feeling as it is to a quality of action.

{Chuckle/Reflection}

MARRIAGE!

It's rough.  It's tough.  It's work.

Anybody who says it isn't

Has never been married.

Marriage has far bigger problems

Than toothpastes squeezed

From the middle of the tube.

MARRIAGE MEANS…

Grappling, aching, struggling.

It means putting up

With personality weaknesses

Accepting criticism

And giving each other freedom to fail.

It means sharing deep feelings

About fear and rejection.

It mean turning self-pity into laughter

And taking a walk to gain control.

MARRIAGE MEANS…

Gentleness and joy

Toughness and fortitude

Fairness and forgiveness

And a walloping amount of sacrifice.

MARRIAGE MEANS…

Learning when to say nothing

When to keep talking

When to push a little

When to back off.

It means acknowledging

"I can't be God to you-

I need Him, too."

MARRIAGE MEANS…

You are the other part of me

I am the other part of you.

We'll work through

With never a thought of walking out.

MARRIAGE MEANS…

Two imperfect mates

Building permanently

Giving totally

In partnership with a Perfect God

MARRIAGE, MY LOVE, MEANS US!

If you are doing some fall cleaning, to suck up hard-to-reach gunk under your fridge, or behind a bookshelf, insert an empty paper towel roll into the end of your vacuum cleaner and bend, or flatten it, to squeeze into these difficult spots.
